RCCG Throne Room Christian Centre, Consett, is part of the Redeemed Christian Church of God global family and is a family church that caters to the spiritual needs of everyone in the family - children, youth and young adults, adults and the elderly.
Our mission is to help people reconcile with God through Christ Jesus and help them build an intimate relationship with God. We believe that church should be active in the community, and we look to make a difference both in the lives of those who are connected with us. The key to a victorious life is trusting God to be there for you in each and every situation, conscious always that you carry Him in you and aware of his presence enough to always yield to his leadership in all activity even the most mundane! That trust in him is the essence of your faith and becomes what you live by, never relying on your natural abilities to secure your (eternal) life – someone described this as “the whole package of God for your life”.
It is called a victorious life because you achieved and attained against the odds and against forces that contended with you. These odds are greater, older, wiser, and are really wily. Ordinarily, you do not stand a chance against them. Not unless you are in God’s camp and God is on your side. Are you in God’s camp? Seek God while he can be found and call on him while he is still near (Isaiah 55:6).

We hold services every Sunday from 10:00am - 12 noon All are welcome to the service at the end of which we serve refreshments to give us an opportunity to meet with everyone.
On Thursdays, we dig deeper into God's word through our Bible study sessions from 6pm - 7pm. We will be moving these online so that people can join us via Youtube or Facebook and will post the information on the website when launched. These sessions help us to increase our knowledge of God and the finished works of Jesus and build the key Christian values that impact community and society for good.
