RCCG Throne Room Christian Centre, Consett, is part of the Redeemed Christian Church of God global family and is a family church that caters to the spiritual needs of everyone in the family - children, youth and young adults, adults and the elderly.
Our mission is to help people reconcile with God through Christ Jesus and help them build an intimate relationship with God. We believe that church should be active in the community, and we look to make a difference both in the lives of those who are connected with us. In County Durham, we provide bible resources on our website and social media to beat depression and encourage people to overcome their mental health challenges.

The Bible teaches us that God does not expect us to live independently of him. In God there is safety, protection, provision, security and a victorious life over the unseen evil forces and darkness that rule the earth. Living for oneself, outside of God’s protection, exposes one to many troubles. God has gifted us his Holy Spirit to help us through life, give us counsel and guide us to victory over the challenges that life throws at us. Those who come to Jesus are given the Holy Spirit as a seal that we belong to God's family. (Ephesians 1:13) Do you belong? The invitation is open.

We hold services every Sunday from 10:00am - 12 noon All are welcome to the service at the end of which we serve refreshments to give us an opportunity to meet with everyone.
On Thursdays, we dig deeper into God's word through our Bible study sessions from 6pm - 7pm. We will be moving these online so that people can join us via Youtube or Facebook and will post the information on the website when launched. These sessions help us to increase our knowledge of God and the finished works of Jesus and build the key Christian values that impact community and society for good.
